The Triangle of Success.
The first point of the triangle deals with minimum wage. I support raising of the minimum wage. There is no reason an American should work a full-time job and still have to receive welfare to make ends meet. If a person is willing to work, they should be paid a livable wage.
The second point of the triangle is student loan debt. We must either reduce or forgive student loan debt. Student loan debt is the greatest burden to current generations of Americans. A good indicator of the major drag on progress is that Americans are saddled with such debt that they are unable to buy their first homes until much later in their lives, if at all. Every new home built creates ~250 jobs for the economy.
The third point of the triangle deals with getting people to work by rebuilding our infrastructure. Our infrastructure is crumbling in the 3rd District, and the country as a whole. Additional federal money must be fought for and obtained for the 3rd District for this effort. This cash injection would provide immediate middle class jobs and better quality of life to a district that desperately needs economic and structural help.
